The Department of Theatre, Dance and Media Arts boasts its own award-winning dance company, The Kaleidoscope Dancers, which present two concerts on campus each year, along with a series of other concerts throughout the region. The concerts feature choreography by visiting guest artists, our exceptional faculty and our outstanding students. You will see a wide range of dance styles, including ballet, tap, jazz and modern dance.

For the 2003-04 school year, the UCO dance program was selected to represent Oklahoma in the Dance/USA’s National College Choreography Initiative. Guest artisit Bill Evas created and choreographed an orignial work, "Together Through Time," fusing tap and modern dance.  The piece premiered at Mitchell Hall Theater in March, and was selected to be performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC for the NCCI gala.  The program was selected for the same program in 2001-02 as well.
